Winter activities in the alps

Off in the snow!

Tobogganging fun and Turning pirouttes. Snowball fights and building igloos.
Adrenaline rush at snow kiting and at the funpark.
Fast descents next to the slopes. The winter here is full of adventures. And do not forget the glittering mountain peaks and the shiny lakes.

Cross- country skiing

Cross- country skiing is more than gliding on the snow. It is meditation on the skis and the perfect training for heart, muscles and the joints. In Venosta Valley there are different trails and also the nordic skiing center Schliniga.

Snowkiting

Why should you stop kiting in the winter? Surfing and jumping the board are just as good over snow and ice. Lake Resia is windproof even in winter.

Ice skating

When the numerous lakes are frozen over in winter, we use them for ice skating. And should the lake not freeze in the sunny Val Venosta, there are still various artificial surfaces on which you can glide along.

Sledging

Kilometers of toboggan runs from nearby Watles mountain up to Nauders over the Austrian border. A sleigh ride is healthy for body and mind. As you swing down the mountain on two skids panoramic views and a variety of mountain huts for a short break awaits you.
