Specialities

Taste your way through the delicacies of nature and let yourself be guided by the scent of fresh herbs; for example, at the many farmers' markets in the area. All the local produce and artisan products will make your mouth water. Not to be missed: an asparagus dish and a glass of white wine.

Skiing

The great thing about the Venosta Valley is the snow on the peaks even in spring. While the sun warms your back, you can head down the slopes turn by turn. Solda/Sulden with the highest peaks in South Tyrol and the Val Senales/Schnalstal glacier are particularly popular with spring skiers.
