300 sunny days and the Val Venosta wind

Gentle climate and little precipitation

Due to its insularity in the Alps, the Val Venosta is considered one of the most self-contained landscape regarding the climate. It has thus developed an independent type of climate, which is characterized by, among other things, long periods of sunshine, high average annual temperatures and strong down winds (the Vinschger Wind).
