300 sunny days and the Val Venosta wind

Gentle climate and little precipitation

Due to its insularity in the Alps, the Val Venosta is considered one of the most self-contained landscape regarding the climate. It has thus developed an independent type of climate, which is characterized by, among other things, long periods of sunshine, high average annual temperatures and strong down winds (the Vinschger Wind).

General weather situation

Partly cloudy
Sunny and warm in the afternoonfrom 8° to 24°
The sun will shine from early to late. A few cumuliform clouds form in the afternoon, but they are mostly harmless.
An area of high pressure has settled over Central Europe, bringing calm weather conditions.

On Thursday the sun will shine all day long. In the afternoon, only a few shallow cumuliform clouds will develop and temperatures will continue to rise. Friday will be similar, with plenty of sunshine and stable conditions again. On Saturday, there will be a few clouds and the chance of local thundery showers will increase slightly. Sunday will bring a mix of sun and clouds, with a slightly increased tendency for showers.
