Your aparthotel with farm in South Tyrol

Our farm for connoisseurs and nature lovers

Welcome to our small farm! Here you are very close to nature and country life. Listen to the bleating of the goats at our aparthotel with farm in South Tyrol, stop by the fallow deer enclosure and enjoy fresh eggs from our chickens or a tea made from herbs from our own meadows for breakfast. You can find more zero-kilometre delicacies from our farm in the delight boutique. We love to work hand in hand with nature and are happy to share this experience with you.

Our sheep and goats

Seven to eight months grazing on lush alpine pastures - that is probably the dream of all sheep and goats. For ours, it has come true. Whether on the meadows by the hotel in spring and fall or on their summer pasture in the Zerzer Valley, all that matters is plenty of fresh air and space! And in winter? That's when the sheep and goats enjoy the feed from our fields in their stables.

Our fallow deer

There is a special enclosure behind our farm. This is where our fallow deer live. In summer the animals enjoy the lush grass, in winter they are fed hay from our meadows. The high-quality light red-brown meat is short-fibred, tender, low in fat, high in protein and has a very fine, mild gamey taste.

Our feedings

Hay and green fodder from our own farm, produced without the use of mineral fertilizers, still taste the best! There is no need for additional concentrated feed. All our animals live close to nature in the surroundings of our farm and spend most of the summer on the alpine pastures in the Zerzer Valley.

Our cows

Alpine butter and cheese made from fresh mountain milk - how delicious! They taste even more exquisite when you know where the milk comes from. Namely from our cows. They graze on the Bruggeralm in the Zerzer Valley from June until the traditional cattle drive, which takes place every year at the beginning of September, when the animals return to the valley.

Our farm products

Zero-kilometre products - that's what we can proudly call our farm produce. Meat from fallow deer, sheep, lamb and goat, chicken and quail eggs: all of this we produce ourselves in the highest quality and spoil you with it at breakfast and in our delight boutique. Alpine cheese and butter are produced on the mountain pasture.

Our herbs

On two of our meadows, herb farmer Hansjörg Oberdörfer grows high-quality organic herbs, which you can purchase as tea blends, sea salt and body products in our delight boutique.

Our contribution to biodiversity

Biodiversity has always been important to us. That's why our farm participates in a project to protect ground and meadow breeders. In this way, we support the well-being of numerous native bird species such as the skylark, corncrake, whinchat, and corn bunting.

Our meadows

Two of our meadows are located in a very special area; on the Malser Haide, there is an area of around 400 hectares that is irrigated by four irrigation channels. This traditional irrigation method was added to the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2023.
